Spin's 50 Best Rap Albums from 1993

Spin Magazine’s staff recently voted Bacdafucup as the #17 best album of 1993.

In an era where rap and metal were fiending to splice DNA, Bacdafucup‘s lead single, “Slam” was the ultimate in crossover appeal. For all intents and purposes it was your average rap crew-cut oozing with testosterone, but the mosh-pit-glorifying video, plus a remix by urban-disciplined metalheads Biohazard (Judgment Night soundtrack, baybee!), really spoke to the Alternative Nation, and Bacdafucup shot to No. 1 on the Rap charts.
